| When I completed the “Drive of Your Life” game, I discovered that my personal style profile was: influential practical and creative.The three careers that match my style are: cartoonists, fashion designers and animal caretakers. From this information I have decided to explore becoming a cartoonist. I selected this job because I enjoy drawing and I like cartoons. One of my daily activities as a cartoonist would be to make characters come to life with two and three dimensioinal images. I also have to speak well and communicate my ideas. In addition, I have to always be listening and comprehending what the clients wants. To work as a cartoonist, I need to get a Bachelor's Degree. I must be good at speaking, writing and drawing in order to become a well trained cartoonist. In the United States, the average salary for $77,010 per year. In the state of Virginia, the average annual salary is $66,538. In the United States by the year 2016, employment for a cartoonist is expected to increase by 25.8 %. In the state of Virginia by the year 2016, it is expected to increase by 37.6%. I am looking forward to becoming a cartoonist in the future. |
